We believe in breeding for the improved health and look of Dogos. We have select breeding periods. Our Damesbreed every 2 years so that their health and the health of the puppies is optimized. Dogos and creating the best Dogos is our passion!
Our Dogo Argentinos come to us born from the origin of their breed at La Cocha Kennels in Cordoba. Thanks to our good friend Ulises D. Andrea Nores, we can offer outstanding Dogos with great confirmation and disposition as they should be.
We breed our dogos occasionally and when we do – we carefully select the future owners of our puppies.
Our puppies will never be given to puppy mills, for dog fighting or be used for other cruel activities.
Our dogos and puppies are both UKC and AKC registered and puppies are registrable with any dog registry in the country and internationally.
Generally, Dogos need a fenced-in yard to play and run, as they are highly energetic.
The future owners of our Dogo puppies should have previous experience with large breeds and hopefully, love the outdoors.
A deposit of $200 is required to reserve a puppy and this deposit is applied to the purchase price.
Before leaving their nest, Puppies will be vaccinated, dewormed and BAER tested.
Cropping the ears is a personal choice – our puppies come uncropped.
Our dogs are family. They live with us and sleep in our house rather than out in kennels and cages. As a breeder, it is important to us that our dogs remain as pets and that they each receive attention and training. Dogos are very much loyal to their owners and their favorite place to be is with them.
We are extremely passionate about this breed. We believe there is no other breed more well suited for us than the Dogo. The versatility drew us to this breed, a working dog with drive that can also come inside with the family and relax. We love the natural protective instinct as well as the loyalty of the Dogo.
Our goal is to continue to better the Dogo Argentino with an emphasis on conformation, protection, and companionship. We are very careful when selecting a dog to add to our breeding program. The existence of Las Pampas Kennels is in all parallel to that of the DOGO ARGENTINO breed. It all goes back to Argentina in 1944, where Raul Zeballos, an inquisitive boy, was receiving from his grandfather Argentine Senator Andres Brizuela, an education in canine breeds.
